Kristin Burton Moseley has a Bachelors Degree in Communication Studies, is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Massage Therapy Instructor and a Certified Ziglar Legacy Trainer and Coach. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University, The National Institute for Health Sciences/Austin School of Massage Therapy and attended the University of North Texas for a Masters Degree in Counseling Education. Kristin was certified by the Zig Ziglar corporation as a Legacy Trainer and Coach.
Kristin has practiced massage therapy since 1993. Her mission is to make a positive difference in the world by facilitating a process that improves the mental, physical and spiritual balance of each person she touches through massage therapy.
Kristin takes great detail to tailor each session to suit the needs of her client. She is equipped to use; Trigger point, Swedish, Deep tissue, PNF Stretching, Neuromuscular re-education, Reflexology, Shiatsu, Bowen, Lymphatic and Somatic therapies.
Heather Finley is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian and Certified LEAP Therapist (CLT). She attended Texas Christian University where she graduated with honors for both her undergraduate degree in Nutritional Sciences and her Masters Degree in Sports Psychology. She is currently pursuing her Doctoral degree in Functional Nutrition. Heather was a competitive swimmer and runner her entire life and first found her love for nutrition through this avenue. Heather has worked in adult and adolescent day treatment eating disorder programs, clinical settings, and maintained a private practice.
Heather frequently works with clients suffering from eating disorders, hormonal imbalances, gastrointestinal disturbances and chronic diseases. Heather has a unique clinical practice. She takes time to listen to patients, respects their beliefs, and values their insight into their own health problems. She recognizes that there are often multiple causes for an illness and likewise, many ways to heal. Heather’s treatment focuses on finding addressing the root of the problem. Heather believes in helping people establish a balanced lifestyle through real food, exercise, and leading by example. Heather focuses on simple nutrition, practical tips and breaking down research so that it can be implemented into any way of life. Heather truly believes that proper nutrition holds the key to a happy healthy lifestyle, which can be achieved without deprivation, fad dieting or restriction. Heather appreciates the emotional connection with food as much as the science behind it. Heather stays on top of the most recent nutrition research and information with a critical and realistic eye. Everyone is different and she works with each client closely to develop an individual plan to fit their lifestyle, goals and various medical conditions. Heather has researched cutting edge technology to find appropriate testing for illnesses that are often hard to treat including digestive, immune, and hormonal imbalances. Heather utilizes a systems theory approach to assess a patients entire health history including: digestion, stress management, the microbiome, and culture in order to find the root cause of any nutritional imbalance or chronic illness. Heather works with clients by providing nutrition counseling in Plano, TX in addition to providing nutrition counseling to long-distance clients via skype or telephone.
